Leaks from Japan suggest the new Z will be available in two forms like with the Z32: a normally aspirated model, and a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6, borrowed from the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport, which is said to punch out a healthy 400 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque at 1600 rpm ( yay! ). What is unknown is if the twin turbo model will be offered in a manual and an automatic ( 7 speed, dual clutch) version. But none of this will matter if the new body design sucks. If it does, and they get enough boos from the crowd at the Tokyo auto show, they may consider changing it. In 2003.5, the concept car ended up being a good predictor of what the 350Z became. There won't be enough time to do a total re-work( the 370Z is gone in 2019) so there is a lot riding on this concept.
